This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected by our website(s), listed above, when you visit or subscribe to one of our meal planning services. We are not responsible for the privacy of any information you reveal or post in any public forum (a message board or blog, for example) or for the privacy practices of websites that are operated or owned by third parties.

Whether information has to be provided by you, and if so why?

We require you to provide your email address and payment details to enable us to provide our service to you. We will inform you at the point of collecting information from you, whether you are required to provide the information to us.

As an online business with no physical storefront we do have customers around the world, and in so doing we are regulated under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies across the European Union (EU), and the CCPA for our Californian customers and we are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.

However, for clarity, we are headquartered in New Zealand, and operate under New Zealand jurisdiction.

When information is collected, how and why we use your information:


We collect and store information that you have explicitly provided to us through forms on our website when you sign up. For example, when you purchase one of our weekly, monthly or annual subscriptions, we collect various personal information such as name, email and payment information. We do not record or store any payment information. Your credit card and banking information is kept securely stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We only use your personal and payment information to charge you for the services you choose to receive and provide you with those services. We store your personally-identifiable data on our servers which are operated by Site Ground Hosting. This information will be stored so long as you maintain an account with us.


When you log into our service, your computer automatically provides your Internet Protocol (IP) address (this is not your email address and cannot be used directly to contact you), information about the request, and certain information about the capabilities of your computer.

We may use this automatically provided information for analytical purposes, to help diagnose errors, and to identify abuse of our systems.


When you create an account you will receive a one-time email message with your account information. Following that you will receive a welcome email containing information on how to best use our service. We will then send you a weekly meal plan.  We may contact you by email from time to time to notify you of updates to the services or other related matters which may be of interest to you. If we do, we will provide a clear method to opt-out of future messages which are not account, meal plan, or payment related. Otherwise, you will receive email from us only in response to a message or request from you.


Our website software uses cookies to maintain your session information. It may be necessary to accept cookies from our website in order to access our services. This allows you to choose to remain logged in so you can access your information quickly when you come to the site. Further information on cookies is detailed in the ‘cookies’ section below.


Who we share your personal information with:

In order to deliver our service we share your email address with trusted third party services; Mailchimp and Stripe.

Mailchimp is our email provider where we create and send our weekly meal plans. Mailchimp’s privacy policy can be found here

Stripe is our payment processor; We do not record or store any payment information ourselves. Your credit card and banking information is kept securely stored by our payment processor, Stripe. You can read more about their privacy policiy here.

The above data sharing enables us to provide customer support, process payments, and improve the services and products we offer to you.

Some of those third party recipients may be based outside the European Economic Area.

We will share personal information with law enforcement or other authorities if required by applicable law.

We will not share your personal information with any other third party.


We collect information directly from you in a number of ways. One way is through our use of ‘cookies’.

Keeping your personal information secure

We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorised way. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.


Use of this website and its subscriptions constitutes agreement with this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to update the Privacy Policy as required by any future law. If you delete your account, we will remove all of your personally identifiable data from our servers and systems.
